Nepenty 001 — Seat

a low seat in metal, drawn from seiza.

hips above knees, the top tilted slightly forward — the spine stacks rather than being held.

the base is one column. nothing encloses the legs. nothing has to be moved before standing.

it comes apart to travel. made in five colourways — cream, taupe, dark brown, black, blue.

it won't make the hour shorter. it changes what the hour asks of the knees and the ankles. that's the whole of it.
