Nepenty makes objects that return you to your body through the ordinary acts of daily life.

Not another thing to think about. Not a practice, a programme, or a system that needs you to be someone slightly better than you currently are. Objects. Weight, repetition, resistance — the shoulders and the hands as the way back in when the mind won't stop.

We call it the weight of presence.

The premise here is different, and it's narrow enough to state plainly: presence, not rest.

The name

From nepenthe — the drug in the Odyssey that made grief quiet for an afternoon. Not a cure. A pause.

That's the honest scope of what an object can do. It won't resolve anything. It gives you somewhere to land while the thinking carries on without you for a while.
